Swiss Asparagus Au Gratin
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
- BRING water to boil in a 10 in.
- frypan; add asparagus.
- Cook for 2 minutes; drain.
- (Asparagus will still be crisp.)
- Place asparagus in a baking dish.
- COMBINE cheese, breadcrumbs and melted butter; sprinkle over asparagus.
- BAKE 8 to 10 minutes in preheated 400F (200C) oven or until cheese mixture is lightly browned.
