Swiss Asparagus Au Gratin

  1. BRING water to boil in a 10 in.
  2. frypan; add asparagus.
  3. Cook for 2 minutes; drain.
  4. (Asparagus will still be crisp.)
  5. Place asparagus in a baking dish.
  6. COMBINE cheese, breadcrumbs and melted butter; sprinkle over asparagus.
  7. BAKE 8 to 10 minutes in preheated 400F (200C) oven or until cheese mixture is lightly browned.
