sunshines's cream cheese cherry braid danish
- 1 8.oz pillsbury crescent
- 1 packages 4.oz cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup smucker's cherry preserves
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 1/2 tsp milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powder sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- on a floured surface or the cookie sheet u will be useing, better to use the cookie sheet, spray with cooking oil or place way paper then spray.
- pinch the dough together, roll out the dough to 12x8 inch rectangle, cut 1 inch wide strips along, long edges of the dough, leaveing the center uncut.
- mix cream cheese, suger and vanilla well, spread on the center of uncut dough, now the cherry filling on top of cream cheese.drizzle honey on cherry.
- start braiding the dough, by folding one side to the other, alternating the side of strips, at angle across filling.
- brush ontop of the loaf,1 tablespoon of milk, sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon sugar
- oven is to be preheated on 375F and bake on 375F for 20 minutes or untill golden color
- take out of oven let cool...........mix the powder sugar, 2 1/2 teasp of milk and 1/4 vanilla mix well, drizzle over warm daish, cut and serve....enjoy
