Hot 'n Spicy Chocolate Tea

  1. Fill a microwave-safe mug half with milk and half with water.
  2. Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes.
  3. Add tea bag and let steep 2 to 5 minutes.
  4. Remove and squeeze tea bag.
  5. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  6. Serve immediately.
  7. NOTE: adjust spices to your taste.
  8. Try garnishing with a dollop of whipped cream, sprinkled with a bit of shaved chocolate.
  9. Original recipe called for 1 tsp chocolate syrup instead of cocoa powder.
  10. Liquids heated together in a saucepan; doubled liquids & tea bags to make 2 servings.
