Lori's Pao Chicken
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cubed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 12 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 12 tablespoons water
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 4 small dried chilies
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
- 12 cup peanuts (chopped, toasted)
- Combine the chicken, soy sauce, cornstarch, water, garlic and chilies.
- Let stand 30 minutes.
- Combine the soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, cornstarch, salt, sesame oil and ginger.
- Heat oil in a wok.
- Add chicken mix.
- Stir-fry 3 minutes.
- Remove with a slotted spoon.
- To wok add sauce mix.
- Cook 1 minute.
- Return chicken.
- Heat through.
- Add peanuts.
