Down Home Macaroni & Cheese
- 1 Tbsp. trans fat free canola-based soft margarine, divided
- 2 tsp. all purpose flour
- 2 fl oz (1/4 cup) fat-free milk
- 2 oz. VELVEETA LIGHT Reduced Fat Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut up
- 1 cup cooked elbow macaroni
- 2 Tbsp. KRAFT Shredded Fat Free Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Tbsp. seasoned dry bread crumbs
- 1 kiwi
- 1 pouch , or 8 fl oz (1 cup) drinking water
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Melt 2 tsp.
- of the margarine in a medium saucepan on low heat.
- Add flour; mix well.
- Cook 2 min., stirring constantly.
- Gradually add milk, stirring until well blended.
- Cook on medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
- Add VELVEETA; cook until melted; continue to stir.
- Add macaroni; mix lightly.
- Spoon into lightly greased baking dish; sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Melt remaining margarine, toss with breadcrumbs, and sprinkle over casserole.
- Bake 20 min.
- or until heated through.
- Enjoy a kiwi for dessert.
- Serve a pouch of KOOL-AID JAMMERS 10 or an 8 fl oz glass of water with the meal.
