Marinated Cheese
- 1/2 cups Good Quality Olive Oil
- 1/2 cups White Wine Or Champagne Vinegar
- 3 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley
- 3 Tablespoons Green Onion, Fine Chop
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoons Dried Basil
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 3 cloves Garlic, Fine Mince
- 1 jar Diced Pimentos, Drained OR Roasted Red Peppers, 4 Ounce Jar
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
- 1 pound Variety Of Cheeses, Cubed (Cheddar, Muenster, Cream Cheese And Swiss)
- 1 loaf Crusty Bread, French Or Ciabatta Works Well
- Cut cheese into desired sizes.
- Place the first 11 ingredients (oil through red pepper flakes) into a shaker to combine.
- Pour the liquid over the cheeses, cover tightly and refrigerate at least 8 hours, but best if at least overnight.
- Arrange on serving tray with all the liquids.
- Serve with cubed bread to soak up the marinade.
