Easy Meat Sauce for Pasta - Quick and Wonderful!

  1. Pour all sauce (both bottles) into a heavy pot or Dutch oven.
  2. Start heating the sauce over med-low heat.
  3. Heat 1 Tbsp of olive oil in a saute pan (medium heat) then sprinkle salt, pepper and parsley over.
  4. Cook the meat--chop up the meat as much as you can while cooking it- until cooked through.
  5. Then add the meat to the sauce.
  6. Heat 1 Tbsp of olive oil in the same pan and saute the garlic until cooked and slightly brown --dont overcook.
  7. Then pour the garlic into the sauce.
  8. Heat the remaining 1 Tbsp of olive oil into the same pan and saute the onions until soft and light brown.
  9. Then add the onions to the sauce.
  10. Pour the red wine into the sauce.
  11. Simmer partially covered for 1 hour (mixing often) over low heat.
  12. Serve over your favorite pasta - cooked al dente -- sprinkle with grated parmesan.
