All Bran Refrigerator Rolls Recipe
- 1 c. Shortening
- 1 c. Boiling water
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- 1 c. All-bran cereal
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 pkt Yeast
- 2 x Large eggs, beaten
- 5 c. Flour
- Heat shortening into water.
- Add in sugar, cereal & salt, then cold to lukewarm.
- Soften yeast in 1 c. hot water then mix with Large eggs.
- Add in to bran mix.
- Add in flour & beat thoroughly.
- Cover & let rise.
- Punch down, cover & place in refrigerator till ready to use.
- Form into rolls.
- Let rise.
- Bake at 450 for 20 min.
- Will keep about a week.
- Dough is soft.
- Makes alighter roll if refrigerated before using.
