Peaches And Cream Kuchen Recipe

  1. Beat together egg, orange juice, butter, flour, baking pwdr and soda.
  2. Press proportionately in the bottom of an oiled and floured 8 x 9 inch spring form (or possibly pie pan).
  3. Bake in a preheated oven 350 degrees for 15 min.
  4. Meanwhile, combine filling ingredients and beat just till blended.
  5. When pastry is done, remove from the oven and spread proportionately with filling.
  6. Arrange a ring of well liquid removed canned peaches (or possibly fresh peach slices) over filling.
  7. Return to the oven and continue baking for 15 more min.
  8. Cold on a wire rack and chill.
  9. To serve remove sides of pan.
  10. Slide Kuchen off onto a plate.
  11. Cut into pie shape wedges.
  12. Serves 6 to 8.
