Gooey Brownie Cake
- 5 oz. BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- Heat oven to 325F.
- Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min.
- or until butter is melted; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
- Cool.
- Beat eggs and sugar in large bowl with mixer 6 to 8 min.
- or until mixture is thick and lemon colored.
- Add chocolate mixture and vanilla; mix well.
- Add flour; mix well.
- Pour into 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray; place pan in larger shallow pan.
- Place on oven rack.
- Add enough hot water to larger pan to come halfway up side of batter-filled pan.
- Bake 50 to 55 min.
- or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs.
- (Do not overbake.)
- Carefully transfer cake to wire rack; cool completely.
