Sausage Broccoli Bake Recipe
- 1 pound bulk sausage
- 2 beaten Large eggs
- 2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1 (8 ounce.) can water chestnuts, liquid removed and sliced
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn minced broccoli, cooked and liquid removed
- 3/4 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise or possibly salad dressing
- 2 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon dry parsley flakes (optional)
- In skillet cook sausage till browned; drain off fat.
- In bowl combine Large eggs, bread crumbs, water chestnuts, broccoli, and sausage; mix well.
- Turn mix into 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 35 min.
- Combine lowfat sour cream, mayonnaise, and mustard.
- Spread over sausage mix.
- If you like, sprinkle parsley flakes on top.
- Bake 5-7 min more or possibly till warm.
- Makes 6 servings.
