Fettuccine Alfredo

• 1 pound fettucine
• 1 stick unsalted butter
• 1 pint heavy cream
• 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
• freshly ground black pepper
• 1/4 cup flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped

1. In a medium pot, heat cream over medium-low until just steaming, then whisk in butter.
