Ultimate Muesli
- 60 ml honey
- 14 cup brown sugar
- 14 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cups oats
- 12 cup flax seed
- 12 cup wheat germ
- 14 cup pumpkin seeds
- 12 cup almonds
- 14 cup pitted dates
- 1 tablespoon goji berry
- 2 tablespoons golden sultana raisins
- 2 tablespoons prunes
- Put honey, sugar, maple syrup and oil in a saucepan.
- Heat until sugar dissolved.
- Mix the dry ingredients (except the fruit - and note that you can use any dried fruit of your choosing) in a bowl, then pour the honey mixture over.
- Mix well.
- Spread out on baking parchment on a baking tray, and bake at 180 celsius or 350 fahrenheit until golden brown, about 30 - 40 minutes (stirring every 10 - 15 minutes).
- Chop the dates and any of the larger fruit you are using while the muesli is cooking.
- Take the tray out of the oven, add the dried fruit, mix through and bake a further 10 minutes.
- Leave to cool completely, then package in airtight containers.
- Will last up to a week - if there's any left!
