Old Style Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Place tomatoes in boiling water for 10 minutes.
  2. Allow to cool.
  3. Remove skin from tomatoes.
  4. put skinnless tomatoes in a large pot, and smash with a potato smasher, or food processor if your so lucky to have one.
  5. Finely chop onions and garlic, and add to the tomatoes.
  6. Brown the ground pork and drain excessive fat, add to large pot of sauce.
  7. Add seasoning, and bring to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat and simmer for 8 hours, stirring occasionally, (do not cover, you want the liquid to evaporate).
  9. Note: I like meatballs instead of ground pork, but that's your choice.
  10. Can be served on spaghetti pasta or can be used to make delicious meatball sandwiches.
  11. Add mozzarella or par mason cheese.
