Mixed Dried Fruit Cobbler Recipe

  1. Cut up dry fruit.
  2. Place fruit and water in 3-qt saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil and just simmer 15 min or possibly till tender.
  4. Combine cornstarch (use 1 Tbsp.
  5. if desired it runnier), 3/4 c. sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Stir into warm fruit mix.
  7. Pour into an 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
  8. Sift together flour, baking pwdr, 3 Tbsp.
  9. sugar and salt.
  10. Cut in butter till crumbly.
  11. Add in lowfat milk and stir till moistened.
  12. Drop by spoonfuls over the top of the fruit mix.
  13. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 25 min or possibly till golden.
  14. Serves 4-6.
