Crispy Caramel Bars
- 12 cup margarine
- 4 12 cups miniature marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 cup white corn syrup
- 34 cup brown sugar
- 1 13 cups peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 14 milk
- 12 cup chocolate chips
- FIRST LAYER: Melt 1/4 cup margarine and add 4 cups marshmellows and melt.
- Add Rice Krispies and mix well and place in 9X13 buttered pan.
- SECOND LAYER: Bring corn syrup and brown sugar to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add peanut butter.
- Stir well and pour over Rice Krispies.
- Spread and cool.
- THIRD LAYER: Bring sugar, remaining 1/4 cup margarine and milk to a rolling boil.
- Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and 1/2 cup marshmellows.
- Beat until thick.
- Spread over other layers.
- Best to set overnight.
