Bleu Cheese Burgers
- 2 12 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 (8 ounce) container blue cheese
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 12 cup quick-cooking oatmeal (NOT instant!)
- 8 ounces bacon (fried and crumbled)
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 -2 tablespoon tiger sauce, powdered, not liquid (use salt if you cannot have MSG)
- black pepper
- 1 (8 ounce) container blue cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 12-1 teaspoon dried dill weed
- FOR BURGERS:.
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for the burgers.
- Oatmeal is the binding agent so adjust amount according to how you want your burgers.
- Shape into patties and grill over hot coals.
- Serve topped with the bleu cheese butter spread and favorite side dish!
- For added flavor, top the butter spread with a slice or two of bacon.
- FOR BLEU CHEESE BUTTER SPREAD:.
- Heat the bleu cheese in the microwave or over a double boiler to get it hot and melty.
- Put the hot cheese in a blender with the butter and dill and blend WELL!
