Apple juice ribs or Labor day ribs
- 8 lb pork ribs, two slabs
- 1/4 cup pink Himalayan salt
- 1/4 cup granulated garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Hungarian paprika
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 quart apple juice, concentrate
- 1 cup apple juice, concentrate
- 1/4 cup dry mustard
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup marinade/brine
- Wash your ribs rinse them to get the bone slivers off
- Remove the silver skin from ribs
- Mix your rub
- Put rub on both side the ribs
- Roll your ribs up put into a ziploc bag
- Mix the mustard with a cup of juice add to bag
- Add the rest of apple juice to bag close refrigerate over night.
- Grill the ribs on the grill till done boil the brine and thicken with cornstarch and brine, mix cornstarch and brine well bring rest of brine to boil pour the cornstarch solution into it stirring constantly till thickens pour over the ribs enjoy.
