Chicken With Mushroom Gravy
- 2 lbs chicken, boneless skinless
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 pepper
- 1 12 cups sliced mushrooms
- 14 cup chicken broth
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 14 cup flour
- Place chicken in slow cooker.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Add mushrooms.
- Mix broth and soup and pour over chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours.
- Pull chicken from slow cooker and set aside.
- When cool, shred.
- Stir together flour and sour cream.
- Stir into sauce.
- Allow to cool.
- Place chicken and sauce in freezer bag.
- Label and freeze.
- To serve: thaw.
- Heat and stir until smooth, thick and bubbly.
