Mexican Shepherd Pie Recipe
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 pound shredded Colby cheese
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 pkg. corn tortilla chips, crushed
- Fry grnd beef and drain.
- Add in onion and fry till transparent.
- Add in garlic salt.
- Dilute cheese soup till soupy.
- Place in a greased 2- qt casserole.
- Start with layer of tortilla chips, then grnd beef, then cheese, and then soup.
- Repeat 2 or possibly 3 layers.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min.
