Buttermilk, Oat, Whole Wheat Bread Recipe
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp. canola oil
- 2 1/4 c. bread flour
- 1/2 c. whole wheat bread flour
- 1/2 c. raw oatmeal - quick-cooking
- 2 Tbsp. raw wheat germ
- 1 1/2 tsp instant yeast - (to 1 3/4 tspns)
- Place all in the bread pan in the order recommended by your machine's manufacturer.
- Process on the appropriate cycle.
- This recipe yields a 1 1/2 lb.
- loaf.
- Yield: 1 loaf
