Beef Stroganoff
- 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cubed
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 7 dashes Tabasco
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- flour
- salt
- pepper
- Preheat electric skillet to 380u0b0.
- Dredge meat cubes in flour mixed with salt and pepper.
- Brown meat in 2 tablespoons butter. Add chopped onion, garlic and mushrooms; brown slightly.
- Lower heat to 300u0b0 or lower; add vinegar, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, Worcestershire and Tabasco sauces and pepper.
- Mix with meat. Cover; cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
- Serve over noodles, spaghetti or rice.
- Serve with a nice green salad.
- Serves 4 to 6.
