Mac & Cheese With Veggies
- 16 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked al dente
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, drained
- 12 cup butter
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded (or you can use a combo of different cheeses)
- 1 12 teaspoons dry mustard
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon white pepper
- 12 teaspoon white pepper
- Combine all infredients.
- Put into a greased casserole dish.
- Cut butter into small pieces and stir with warm macaroni to melt it.
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
- You might have to cover with foil if it start to get too brown.
