Soft Rib Stew
- 1 lb Pork ribs
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 1 can demi glace sauce
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 1 soup cube
- 50 ml red wine
- 400 ml water
- 1 oil
- 1 salt and pepper
- 4 potatoes (optional)
- 1 can mushrooms (or fresh - optional)
- Cut carrot into slices, onion into wedges.
- Sprinkle salt & pepper on ribs.
- Heat oil and brown ribs.
- Add veggies and stir fry.
- When veggies coated in oil, add wine, water and demi glace.
- Bring to boil.
- Add soup cube and ketchup, then simmer.
- Skim off scum.
- Simmer 2 hours stirring every 15 minutes.
- Optionally, pan sear ribs, then put all ingredients in pressure cooker.
- Cook on high 30 minutes.
