Onion-Mushroom Topper

  1. Cook bacon in large saute pan on medium heat until soft.
  2. Drain, reserving bacon and 1/2 of the bacon drippings in pan.
  3. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir until tender.
  4. Add mushrooms; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and bacon is cooked through, stirring occasionally.
  5. Deglaze with pan with the sherry.
  6. Add steak sauce; cook 1 minute.
  7. Keep warm until ready to use.
