Six Sister Cherry Danish Cookies
- 1 cup Unsalted butter (softened)
- 8 oz Cream cheese
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 30 oz Cherry pie filling
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 cup Powder suger
- 2 tbsp Milk
- Beat butter,cream cheese,milk,and sugar together.then add egg yolk
- Stir flour and baking powder into butter mixture to make a stiff dough
- Chill over night
- Preheat oven to 400
- Roll out dough 1/4 " think
- Cut into circles with 2" round cookie cutter
- Place 1" apart on cookie sheet
- Make indent in each cookie with thumb
- Fill with cherry filling
- Bake 10-12 mins
- Cool completely
- Glaze:
- Mix sugar and milk together
- Add more sugar if to runny, add more milk if to thick
- Pipe onto cooled cookies
- Enjoy via six sisters
