Bento with Tail-Wagging Puppy
- 100 grams Plain cooked rice
- 1 stick or 1 slice Chikuwa or Satsuma age
- 1 Your favorite rice seasonings
- 1 Nori seaweed
- Mix a bit of salt into the rice if you like, add in your favorite filling, and make a 70 g oval rice ball for the face.
- Use about 4 g for the tail, and about 20 g for the body.
- We will be stacking the head on the body later, so make a bit of an indent.
- You can also make an oval part for the nose using 2-3 g if you like to make it cute.
- Use a tear-shaped cutter to cut out shapes from either chikuwa or satsuma age.
- I used chikuwa in the photo.
- Put the body and then the head into the bento box, stick on the ears and tail with raw fusilli pasta (or another spiral).
- Use an oval punch to cut out shapes for the eyes and nose, stick them on, and it's done.
- Having two is even cuter.
- Here's a cute panda too.
- The characters Pim and Pom are also adorable in lunch boxes with their wagging tails.
- You can also make a puppy wagging its tail with round cuts of sausage.
