Burger Pizza
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 c. Contadina seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. dry Carnation nonfat dry milk, plus water to make 1 c. liquid
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. (8 oz. can) Contadina pizza sauce
- 1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
- pizza toppers: green peppers, mushrooms, olives and onions
- Combine ground chuck, bread crumbs, liquid nonfat dry milk, onion, egg and salt.
- Mix lightly but thoroughly.
- Press on 12-inch pizza pan.
- Form 1/2-inch rim around edge.
- Spread pizza sauce over meat mixture.
- Sprinkle with cheeses and choice of pizza toppers. Bake in moderate oven at 350u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Drain off fat. Cut into wedges.
- Makes 1 (12-inch) pizza.
