Mandys meat and vegetable spaghetti sauce
- 900 grams steak mince
- 1 large onion diced
- 5 clove garlic diced
- 3 carrots diced
- 1 bell pepper diced
- 1 handful of mushroom diced
- 1 courgette diced( zucchini)
- 1 tbsp aged balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp tomatoe puree
- 2 tbsp oregano dried
- 2 tbsp basil dried
- 500 ml passata
- 500 ml water to cover meat and veg
- 1 salt pepper to taste
- Brown meat in a pan ,drain off excess fat ,leaving behind one tablespoons
- Add onion and garlic and saute until tender
- Add dried herb ,tomato puree and the remaining veg mix well ,cook for five minutes
- Add balsamic vinegar ,passata and enough water to cover all ingredients,bring to a boil ,then gently simmer until the right thickness u like ,season with salt n pepper and serve with Ur favourite pasta topped with a handful of cheese if u like and enjoy
