Autumn Punch

  1. Put cloves and vanilla bean in cheesecloth and tie in a bundle with string.
  2. Pour apple-cranberry juice into a large container/pitcher.
  3. Add the plums and spice bag.
  4. Cover and chill for 4-24 hours.
  5. Remove spice bag.
  6. Stir in wine or ginger ale.
  7. Serve over ice with plum slices or heat the punch and serve.
