Beef Noodle Casserole
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- garlic to taste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. flat noodles
- 6 green onions and tops, chopped
- 1 large pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
- Brown beef in butter.
- Add garlic, sugar, salt, pepper and tomato sauce.
- Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
- Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
- Mix onions with cream cheese and sour cream.
- Cool meat mixture and noodles.
- Grease 2-quart casserole dish.
- Alternate layers of noodles, cheese mixture and meat mixture.
- Repeat.
- Sprinkle top with grated cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly in 350u0b0 oven.
