Manhattan Meatballs Recipe
- 1 pound grnd pork
- 2 c. bread crumbs
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (10 ounce.) jar apricot preserves
- 2 tbsp. minced parsley
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. Kraft barbecue sauce
- Have meat at room temperature, then combine meat, crumbs, onion, Large eggs and seasonings.
- Shape into small size meatballs and brown in butter.
- Put into casserole dish.
- Combine preserves and barbecue sauce and pour over meatballs.
- Bake for 30 min.
- We do the meatballs and let stand in casserole till just before serving time, then we heat the sauce slightly, pour over the meatballs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
