Turkey-Apple Burgers

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
  2. Lightly oil large baking pan (jelly roll pan).
  3. Food process the apple, onion and celery until finely chopped.
  4. Add in the bread crumbs, egg substitute, mustard, brown sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper and process until well combined.
  5. In large bowl combine the ground turkey with the ingredients you food-processed.
  6. Stir or knead well together.
  7. Form mixture into 10 patties for sliders, 6 for regular size burgers.
  8. Place on prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes, halfway through you may need to drain fluid off the pan.
  10. Also turn them over to brown nicely.
  11. Serve burgers on rolls, garnish with lettuce, tomato, onion & bacon if desired.
  12. You can also put a slice of cheese on each burger the last minute of cooking.
  13. Cooked burgers may be frozen and reheated in the microwave.
