Chocoladamias
- 1/4 c. margarine or butter
- 6 oz. white baking bar with cocoa butter or 1 c. white baking pieces with cocoa butter
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2/3 c. chopped Macadamia nuts
- In a small, heavy saucepan, heat margarine or butter and half of white baking bar or pieces over low heat, just until melted, stirring occasionally (mixture will separate).
- Meanwhile, coarsely chop remaining white baking bar or pieces; set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, beat with an electric mixer until foamy.
- Add sugar, then beat on high speed for 1 minute, until light.
- Add margarine mixture, flour, vanilla and baking powder.
- Beat until thoroughly combined, scraping sides of bowl often.
- Stir in nuts and remaining chopped white baking bar or pieces.
