Bran Griddle Cake Rolls Pancakes
- 14 cup bran flakes
- 1 12 cups milk
- 1 12 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 34 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons shortening, melted
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 14 cup jelly
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- Soak bran flakes in milk for 10 minutes.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
- Combine egg and bran/milk mixture.
- Add melted shortening.
- Add to dry ingredients.
- Mix until smooth.
- Cook on hot griddle.
- Turn only once.
- Spread with butter and jelly and roll up.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Serve.
