Raspberry Peanut Jamwich
- 1/3 cup Kraft Peanut Butter
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Kraft Pure Raspberry Jam
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup toasted and ground peanuts Rite Aid Buy 1 Get 1 Free thru 02/06
- MIX peanut butter, butter, icing sugar, egg yolks and flour until blended and smooth.
- Spread evenly into greased 9 inch (23 cm) square pan.
- Bake at 350F (180C) for 15 minutes or until golden.
- SPREAD jam over base.
- BEAT egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually beat in sugar.
- Fold in nuts.
- Spread over jam layer.
- Bake at 350F (180C) for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool and cut into bars.
