Marinade Turkey Recipe
- 5 pound turkey breasts
- 1 c. shallots, peeled & minced
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tbsp. black pepper
- 1 tbsp. red pepper
- 2 c. veg. oil
- 1 quart. (4 c.) white wine
- 1 tbsp. paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Place shallots in a wide mouth jar.
- Pour wine and veg.
- oil into a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Add in the sugar and seasonings.
- Stir well.
- Simmer for 5 min.
- Remove the mix from heat and pour over the shallots.
- Set aside for 15 min.
- Then pour it over the turkey breast.
- Marinate the breasts for 6 hrs or possibly overnight in a covered container in refrigerator.
- Increase the recipe for large birds and let marinate for at least 24 hrs.
- Bake turkey according to instructions.
