Maple-Mustard Glazed Salmon
- 2 (6 Oz Size) Skin-on Salmon Fillets, Preferably Center-cut
- 1 Tablespoon Whole Grain Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 2 teaspoons Maple Syrup
- 2 teaspoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Plus More For Greasing
- Salt And Pepper
- 1 whole Lemon, Cut Into Wedges, To Serve
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Bring salmon to room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Lightly grease a baking sheet with oil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mustards, syrup and oil.
- Pat salmon dry.
- Season well with salt and pepper on the skin side; season lightly on the opposite side.
- Lay salmon skin side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Rub the top with the mustard mixture.
- Bake for 810 minutes or until cooked to desired doneness.
- If desired, transfer under the broiler for the last 24 minutes of cooking for a more well-browned crust (not depicted here).
- Remove skin before serving, if desired.
- Serve with lemon.
- Enjoy.
