Candied Sweet Potatoes

  1. Scrub and boil potatoes until tender, 20-30 minutes.
  2. Peel and cut in slices.
  3. Put into a buttered baking dish in layers with a little brown sugar over each layer.
  4. Dot each layer with butter and a little sherry.
  5. Bake in a 350* oven for 30 minutes.
