Candied Sweet Potatoes
- 4 sweet potatoes
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 12 cup sherry wine
- Scrub and boil potatoes until tender, 20-30 minutes.
- Peel and cut in slices.
- Put into a buttered baking dish in layers with a little brown sugar over each layer.
- Dot each layer with butter and a little sherry.
- Bake in a 350* oven for 30 minutes.
