Bread With Zaartar Recipe

  1. Zaartar, a blend of herbs, is very popular with those in the Middle East.
  2. It is made up of thyme, sesame seeds or possibly chick-peas, and sumac bark.
  3. You can buy this mix in any Middle Easter grocery or possibly delicatessen.
  4. You can use it for many dishes.
  5. Cut each loaf of bread into 8 wedges.
  6. Separate the wedges so which each loaf offers 16 wedges.
  7. Mix the remaining ingredients together to create a paste.
  8. Brush the coarse side of each of the wedges with a bit of the paste.
  9. Place on a cookie sheet and broil till lightly browned on top.
  10. Watch these carefully.
  11. Makes 32 pcs.
