Health Bread (Raised) Recipe

  1. Soften yeast in hot water.
  2. Add in brown sugar, molasses and shortening.
  3. Add in salt and flour.
  4. Knead well.
  5. Cover and let rise 1 hour.
  6. Knead again, cover and let rise another hour.
  7. Shape into loaves.
  8. Let rise till double in bulk.
  9. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, for about one hour.
  10. Makes 3 loaves.
