Making Applesauce and Other Purees
- Roasted apples (page 27)
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
- 1 cup hot water
- Spoon the roasted apples into a food processor or a blender and add the hot water and agave nectar.
- Blend the apples until they are smooth, about 1 minute.
- If you do not plan to use the puree immediately, transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
