Beef Wellington (English) Recipe
- 1 1/2 pound fillet steak
- 2 - 4 ounce. liver pate
- 4 ounce. button mushrooms
- 7 ounce. puff pastry
- Cover steak with pate and minced mushrooms then cover with pastry and bake.
- Seal pastry with water, coat with egg, stand in refrigerator for 1/2 hour before cooking.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 15 min, reduce temperature to 375 degrees.
- For rare, 25 min; for medium, 30 min; for well done, 35 min.
