Cowboy Steaks
- 1 Ribeye steak, bone on
- 1/4 cup Lawry's seasoned salt
- 2 TBSP Garlic powder
- 2 TBSP Onion powder
- 2 TBSP Black pepper
- TBSP = tablespoon
- Mix rub ingredients and season steak well on both sides.
- Refrigerate 4 to 24 hours.
- Store extra rub in a labeled container.
- Set up your grill for Direct Heat (a mesquite wood fire is traditional for cooking cowboy steaks).
- Grill steak directly over the heat to your personal liking.
- When done remove from the grill and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- To make this a "Surf and Turf" serve with Grilled Alaska King Crab Legs.
