My Grandmas Meatballs

  1. Use a bowl to soak the slices of bread in the milk.
  2. Let it sit for a few minutes, then discard the leftover milk.
  3. Mix the soggy bread in with all the other ingredients.
  4. You can use a mixer to blend everything together, or you can use your hands.
  5. Either way, your hands will eventually get dirty, because the next step is to form bits of the mixture into balls, using the palms of your hands.
  6. Embrace the squishiness!
  7. While you are forming the meatballs, heat up some olive oil (a couple of tablespoons should do) in a skillet over medium heat.
  8. Brown each of the meatballs in the oil, then throw them all in a big pot with your favorite tomato/spaghetti sauce (were Ragu people) and let them simmer for 30 minutes.
  9. Easy and delicious!

bread, milk, eggs, ground beef, italian sausage, parmesan cheese, parsley, clove garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, olive oil
