Michelle's Trinidadian Tonic

  1. In a saucepan add the water, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add ginger and let steep 5 minutes.
  5. Strain tea through a fine mesh sieve and serve immediately.
  6. Sweeten with honey if desired.
