Cottage Cheese: Open-Faced Sandwich
- 1/2 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN 2% Milkfat Low Fat Cottage Cheese
- 1 tablespoon KRAFT Fat Free Italian Dressing
- 1 whole wheat pita bread rounds, cut in half
- 1/8 pound romaine lettuce
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1 medium green pepper
- 1/2 fresh, medium whole tomatoes
- 1 medium banana, sliced
- Mix cottage cheese and dressing.
- Shred lettuce and slice cucumber, green pepper and tomato.
- Top pita bread with lettuce, 4 slices of cucumber, 4 slices of green pepper, 2 tomato slices and cottage cheese mixture.
- Enjoy the remaining sliced veggies on the side, along with a banana for dessert.
