Cucumber Ribbon Salad
- cucumber
- romaine lettuce
- green onion
- Kraft Thousand Island Dressing
- Just follow our 3 simple steps
- Trim ends off a cucumber and cut in half crosswise and lengthwise.
- Run a spoon down the centre to remove seeds.
- Using a sharp vegetable peeler or other slicer, thinly slice each piece lengthwise into ribbons.
- Place ribbons in a large bowl of ice water and chill at least a half hour.
- Drain and toss in large bowl, along with 4 cups torn romaine lettuce and 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions.
- Divide salad among 4 bowls and pour 1 tbsp.
- Kraft Thousand Island or French Dressing over top of each.
- For added crunch, crumble a package of dry Ramen noodles (reserving seasoning packet for another use) into salad before tossing.
