Cucumber Ribbon Salad

  1. Just follow our 3 simple steps
  2. Trim ends off a cucumber and cut in half crosswise and lengthwise.
  3. Run a spoon down the centre to remove seeds.
  4. Using a sharp vegetable peeler or other slicer, thinly slice each piece lengthwise into ribbons.
  5. Place ribbons in a large bowl of ice water and chill at least a half hour.
  6. Drain and toss in large bowl, along with 4 cups torn romaine lettuce and 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions.
  7. Divide salad among 4 bowls and pour 1 tbsp.
  8. Kraft Thousand Island or French Dressing over top of each.
  9. For added crunch, crumble a package of dry Ramen noodles (reserving seasoning packet for another use) into salad before tossing.
