Apple Scones

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Mix together dry ingredients.
  3. Cut in shortening as you would for a pie crust.
  4. Stir in apples and raisins.
  5. Add enough juice to make a stiff dough.
  6. On floured surface, roll dough about 1/2 inch thick.
  7. Cut into triangles and bake on cookie sheet for 10 minutes, or until light brown.
