Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

  2. Place mushrooms, broth, tomato paste, optional wine and sage in cooker.

  4. Add chicken and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.

  6. Remove chicken from pot and add thyme to sauce.

  8. Mix cornstarch with 1/2 cup liquid from pot and stir into sauce.

  10. Cook on high for 15 minutes or until thickened.
  11. 6.
  12. Add chicken to pot and reheat for a few minutes.
